Job Description:

Avoiding teacher shortages has become a pressing concern within the United States education system.Zen Educate combines technology to connect educators with suitable schools, bridging the gaps in the current system and improving student educational experiences.We are seeking passionate teachers to fill part-time, full-time, and long-term positions with school districts as Teaching Assistants.Key Responsibilities:

• Support licensed teachers in the classroom
• Collaborate with students in group settings to reinforce instructed material
• Contribute to maintaining a conducive learning environment
• Assist with classroom communications and administrative tasks
• Ensure a safe and supportive learning environment
• Utilize various teaching methods to enhance student experiences and provide necessary support
• Be comfortable with personal care tasks for studentsMinimum Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Two years of college or 48 units
  • A.A. degree or higher
  • Pass a local assessment of knowledge and skillsPreferred Requirements:
    • Bachelor's Degree or higher
    • ParaPro Certification or similar
    • Experience working in a school setting
    • Experience working with students with special needsAdditional Requirements:
      • US Work Authorization is required
      • Proficiency in English is necessaryCompensation:
        • Salary will be based on qualifications and experience
